The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) will release the seat allotment result for round 2 of JoSAA 2024 on June 27. Round 1 seat allotment result was announced on June 20, with candidates who received seats required to pay the acceptance fee by June 24.
Registration and choice filling for JoSAA 2024 concluded on June 18, and the registration link was active on josaa.nic.in. JoSAA also announced the mock seat allocation for round 2 on June 17, 2024. To view their seat allocation result, candidates need to log in using their JEE Main 2024 roll number and password. Participation in JoSAA Counselling 2024 is open to candidates with valid ranks in JEE Main or JEE Advanced.

Steps for JoSAA 2024 Registration & Choice Filling
- Visit the official website of JoSAA 2024.
- Click on the registration link provided.
- Enter your JEE Main 2024 roll number and password to initiate the registration process. JEE Advanced 2024 qualified candidates should use their respective passwords.
- Fill in basic details such as nationality, state code of eligibility, gender, and other required information.
- Review the entered details carefully and confirm them.
- Note that personal information, except for contact details, cannot be modified once submitted.
Step 2: JoSAA Choice Filling
- After completing the JoSAA 2024 registration, candidates need to proceed to choice filling.
- On the JoSAA portal, candidates will find a list of courses and colleges they are eligible for based on their JEE Main or JEE Advanced qualifications.
- Candidates should carefully select and prioritize their preferred courses and colleges from the available options.
- The selection should be done in the order of preference, starting with the most preferred choice.
Step 3: Choice Locking
- Once the choice filling is completed, candidates must lock their selected choices.
