Jadavpur University is inviting applications for admission to the academic session 2024. The university offers various courses including B.Ed. Special Education (Visual Impairment) at Voice of World Teachers’ Training College in Kanganberia and Jadavpur University campus in Kolkata.

The application process involves filling out an online form by June 30, 2024, followed by an interview from July 8 to 10, 2024. Selected candidates will be notified by July 12, 2024, and classes are scheduled to commence on July 29, 2024.

Eligibility Criteria

Here Are The Eligibility Criteria:

• Candidates should have at least 50% marks in their Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Sciences, Social Sciences, Humanities, or Engineering/Technology with a specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks.
• Qualifications must be equivalent to the above degrees.
• The eligibility is as per rules set by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).
• Specific criteria for SC/ST/OBC/PWD categories will follow state government regulations.

Fee Details

• Course Fee: ₹40,000 per year, non-refundable. The first-year fee is payable at admission.
  • The second-year fee is to be paid before the start of the second-year classes.
• Registration & Examination Fee: As per Jadavpur University norms.

Payment for the course fee will be conducted online, with details provided upon selection.

Main Dates

Process of Admission

The admission process for B.Ed. Special Education (Visual Impairment) at Jadavpur University involves the following steps:

Application:

Candidates need to fill out an online application form by the deadline of June 30, 2024.

Application Fee:

Pay a non-refundable fee of ₹200 via UPI transfer to the designated mobile number . Upload the UPI Transfer ID and payment screenshot with the application form.

Selection:

Candidates will be selected based on their academic scores and performance in the interview, scheduled from July 8 to July 10, 2024.

Publication of Lists:

 A provisional list of candidates selected for the interview will be published on July 5, 2024. The list of candidates selected for admission will be published on July 12, 2024.
