Qualification Overview
- Must be an Indian citizen
- Candidates should be no older than 35 years on the closing date of the application
- No marriage to a person with a living spouse unless legally permitted
- No conviction by any court
- Not dismissed from government service
- Not terminated from BSF during probation.
- People who were affected by the riots in 1984 or 2002 and lived in Jammu & Kashmir during a specific period also get extra age relaxation.
