The role involves tracking fundamental and industry data, generating equity research reports, and interacting with institutional investors and company management.
Responsibilities
- Tracking Data: Keep tabs on essential data for companies in the assigned sector.
- Report Generation: Produce various equity research reports, including coverage initiation, sector themes, quarterly updates, and event analyses.
- Client Interaction: Engage with domestic and foreign institutional investors, building strong relationships.
- Team Collaboration: Work as part of a respected research team to cater to investor segments effectively.
Required Skills
- Communication: Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Client Relationships: Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with institutional investors.
- Industry Connections: Established rapport with company management in the relevant sector.
- Database Proficiency: Familiarity with financial databases like Bloomberg, CMIE, Reuters, and Factset.
- Independence and Teamwork: Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
Educational Qualifications
- Postgraduate degree, preferably MBA/CFA/CA or equivalent from recognized universities.
- NISM Series XV certification is required.
Experience
- Minimum 5-15 years of relevant experience.
