Scale of Pay

Eligibility Criteria
- Nationality: Applicants must be Indian Citizens as defined in Articles 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India.
- Residency: Candidates must be permanent residents of Assam.
- Domicile Proof: Valid Permanent Resident Certificate issued in Assam for educational purposes or Employment Exchange Registration Certificate.
- Education Qualification: Candidates must possess a Three-year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from any technical institute recognized by the Government. Only regular diploma courses are accepted; diplomas obtained through Distance Mode of Education will not be considered.
- Language Proficiency: Apart from English, candidates should have adequate knowledge of at least one official language of the State of Assam (i.e., Assamese/Bengali/Bodo).
- Age Limit: Applicants should be between 18 and 38 years of age as of 01/01/2024.

- SC/ST: Up to 43 years
- OBC/MOBC: Up to 41 years
- Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD): Up to 10 years
- Ex-Servicemen: Up to 55 years (depending on category)
