Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited BHEL Recruitment 2024 is inviting applications for the position of Part-Time Medical Consultant (PTMC) in its Power Sector Western Region in Nagpur. The role requires candidates to hold an MBBS degree with a minimum of three years of experience in a reputed hospital. Preference will be given to those with additional qualifications such as a PG Diploma or MD/DNB. The position is limited to individuals up to 65 years of age.
The selected PTMC will be compensated based on their qualifications, with hourly rates of ₹350, ₹460, or ₹530, depending on whether they hold only an MBBS degree, a PG Diploma, or an MD/DNB respectively. The consultant will work approximately 3 hours a day for 22 to 25 days a month, excluding certain holidays. Local travel costs up to ₹4,500 per month will be reimbursed.

Qualification for BHEL Recruitment 2024

- Min. Post Qualification Required: 3 years in a hospital of repute (excluding internship)

Pay Scale for BHEL Recruitment 2024
Remuneration Details for Part-Time Medical Consultant (PTMC) at BHEL, Power Sector Western Region, Nagpur:
PTMC (MBBS): ₹350 per hour
- Hours per Day: 3
- Days per Month: Varies from 22 to 25 days (excluding 2nd and last Saturdays, Sundays, and Festival Holidays)
PTMC (PG Diploma): ₹460 per hour

PTMC (MD/DNB): ₹530 per hour

Additional Conveyance Charges:
For local travel (up to 30 km one way), conveyance charges will be reimbursed on an actual basis, with a maximum ceiling of ₹4,500 per month.
Age Limit for BHEL Recruitment 2024
Upper Age Limit (As on 01.08.2024): 65 years. The upper age limit is 65 years and no relaxation with respect to age will be given to PH, ExServicemen, SC, ST and OBC candidates. There is no reservation for SC, ST and OBC. All applicants will be treated under UR category
Selection Procedure for BHEL Recruitment 2024
- Selection for the Part-Time Medical Consultant (PTMC) positions will be based on an interview of shortlisted candidates.
- The tentative date for the interview is the last week of August 2024, and it will be conducted at our Nagpur office. Please note that no TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
Medical Fitness:
- Applicants must be in sound health. Before finalizing the appointment, selected candidates will be required to undergo a medical examination conducted by the company’s authorized Medical Officer or a panel hospital.
- The appointment is contingent upon meeting the health standards set by the company. Candidates are advised to undergo a thorough medical check-up by a competent medical officer prior to the interview.
