Applications are being solicited for the position of six Additional Chief Vigilance Officers (Addl. CVOs) on a deputation basis in various Public Sector Banks, including the State Bank of India, as detailed below

Salary Details
The officers appointed as Additional Chief Vigilance Officers (Addl. CVOs) in Public Sector Banks (PSBs) will receive their current pay from their parent organization along with a deputation allowance equivalent to 10% of their basic pay. Additionally, they will be entitled to the perks and benefits applicable to the next higher positions within the borrowing organization.
Eligibility
- Officers at the level of Deputy General Manager (DGM) from Public Sector Banks, including the State Bank of India, are eligible to apply for the position of Additional Chief Vigilance Officer (Addl. CVO).
- They should have at least 2 years of experience, preferably in vigilance or credit matters, at the DGM level, and must have a minimum of 3 years of residual service.
- Candidates should have relevant experience in managing high-value loans and should demonstrate exposure across various organizational verticals.
- Importantly, applicants cannot be serving as Additional CVO within their parent bank.
Selection Process
Candidates for appointment to the post of Additional Chief Vigilance Officer (Addl. CVO) will be selected by the Government in consultation with the Central Vigilance Commission (CVC). The selection process will primarily consider the candidates’ service record and their interaction with the Selection Committee.

- Organizations are requested to submit applications or nominate officers interested in the position along with their complete bio-data in the enclosed format and attested copies of their Annual Performance Assessment Reports (APARs) for the last five years (2018-19 to 2022-23) to the Department by 31st July 2024.
- When forwarding names, please ensure that:
- The officers can be spared for at least 3 years for this assignment.
- The officer must have a minimum of 3 years of service remaining as of 31st July 2024.
- The officer should not have any pending vigilance cases.
- Officers under debarment need not be nominated.
- Officers who have faced major or minor penalties during their career are not eligible and their applications should not be forwarded.
